Story Synopsis:
Year of the Goat is one of today's hottest independent comic book series and is best described as the Walking Dead meets Planet of the Apes meets Animal Farm….but with a crap load of evil, bloody goats. Self published under the label SpellBound Comics, Year of the Goat features a stunning black, white and red color blend and mature, edgy writing. The comic is written by Tom Spellman and is drawn by Rafael Chrestani. Issues feature variant covers by Verry Woong & A Shay Hahn, and colors by John Rudwall & Fahriza Kamaputra.
In the second issue, the goats take their attack to a worldwide level as humans are killed in places like Russia, France, India, China and the U.K. A pack of goats are gunned down by a shop keeper, only to rise from the ground moments later, unscathed. The goats cannot be killed.
The mysterious stranger finds his way into Old Jack's End of the Road Saloon and Gas Station where he is greeted at gun point by the saloon owners, Old Jack, a mountain of a man who is a blind and Blue Bell, his feisty granddaughter. Though the stranger seems a bit quirky, they allow him to rest for a moment.
