In this first part, mercenaries from all over are coming to the wretched city of Bal Khunda. The city is rallying for war against the old rival city of Bar Kthuga. Two young peasant girls are caught up in the intrigue when a particularly ruthless group of mercenaries attack them and thereby trigger a fateful series of events…
One of the nobles of Bal Khunda releases an arcane being which she hopes will aid her in her quest to heal the rotting city. It just might, but not in the way she imagines.
This is part one of twelve in a graphic novel series entirely illustrated by hand with ink and watercolor.
