Collector Notes:
A regular monthly series that followed the comedic adventures of Harley Quinn. Ran for 4 years.
While Harley Quinn had appeared in comics before - most notably in 1994's Mad Love graphic novel - she finally got her own regular title 8 years after her debut in TV's Batman: The Animated Series. Written by Karl Kesel and drawn by Terry Dodson, the double sized first issue dealt with Harley's twisted relationship with the Joker, as she disguised herself as Poison Ivy to help break him out of Arkham Asylum.
The series is collected in a number of Hardcover and Trade Paper Back collections:
Harley Quinn: Preludes and Knock-Knock Jokes (#1-7)
Harley Quinn: Night and Day (#8-13, Harley Quinn: Our Worlds At War #1)
Harley Quinn: Welcome To Metropolis (#14-25).
An amazingly popular character! Her first appearance in comics in Batman Adventures (1st Series) #12 has rocketed in value.
See also a terrific cover on Detectve Comics (2nd) #23.2.
