(Aug 1962) Origin and 1st appearance of Spider-Man by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko cover art. The UK pence variant has the exact same contents and cover as the American edition apart from the price and cover date - a single line saying Distributed by Thorpe and Porter.
