Story Synopsis:
ll MY Ghosts is about a newspaper man named Joe Hale. He owns and operates a local newspaper in a small Appalachian town a lot like mine. Times are tough and the economy is down the tubes so Joe is forced to sell the paper to an outside company that flips dying newspapers. The newspaper has been in Joe's family for four generations so naturally there is a lot of guilt over his decision. Once the deal is made strange things start to happen… Joe starts slowly slipping out of control and writing abrasive opinion columns that start to piss off his readers and the community. Even Joe's friends and family start to drift away. Not only that but the building itself seems to be reacting to the changes brought on by the buyout. Strange possibly supernatural occurances become more frequent and eventually all of these events snowball into a jarring climax that will change Joe forever.

Okay, I'll admit it I thought I was going to read a horror comic. It soon became obvious that it wasn't. But I was totally drawn into the story and had to read it in one hit.

Thoroughly unlikable protag screws everyone he knows. Well written and paced, a decent read if a rehashed story
